Sündis Kuramaal Jelgavas juudi soost kaupmeheperes Ferdinand Feitelbergi ja tema abikaasa Friederike (snd. Kaplan) pojana. Õppis Tartu ülikoolis arstiteadust 1879–1884 (dr. med.) Oli seejärel arst Venemaal Tuulas, 1890–1922 elas Moskvas, kus 1901–1920 oli Rootsi–Vene telefoniühingu peaarst. Oli abielus Lilly Feitelbergiga (snd. Hirschfeldt) (1885–1909).
